It has also been used by and ascribed to various other sources including: the Philadelphia Eagles, Dennis Reinhart, Barrie M Tritie, Maria Robinson among others. I am sure that there are many people that have expressed a sentiment similar in idea if not in words to this quote; however, Sherman’s work is the earliest.
